A German-made school backpack? Yes and no. Our headquarters – where we not only develop our product ideas and designs but manage the entire manufacturing process – are in the west of Cologne. Our products are manufactured in selected factories in Asia, and we procure our raw materials from suppliers around the world. What’s most important to us: transparency.

Cologne Ideas for our satch products are born here. At our innovative office complex, “The Ship”, our team players put their heads together to develop the best for you.

Many of our partnerships have been in place since the beginning, and our in-house CR team is regularly on location as well. And for moments when we can’t be there ourselves, we collaborate with a strong independent partner who audits our production facilities at regular intervals.

Fair Wear Foundation

Together with the Fair Wear Foundation (FWF) and other partners such as workshops, NGOs, factories, business associations, and governmental organizations, we’ve set ourselves the goal of continuously improving working conditions in the textile industry. The FWF not only evaluates the working conditions at our sewing rooms regularly, but also assesses our own efforts to improve working conditions within our supply chain.
We have undergone regular audits since 2019, and year after year, we have achieved the organisation’s best possible status ranking: Fair Wear Leader.

Reasonable working hours

All employees have at least one day off per week, and all statutory overtime regulations are followed.
